• (iv) dig → এর অর্থ “খোঁড়া”। মাটি খুঁড়ে মূর্তি বানানোর কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই। একদম ভুল।
• (i) model → এর অর্থ “গড়া আকৃতি” বা “ত্রিমাত্রিক প্রতিরূপ”। sculpture-এর সবচেয়ে কাছের এবং সাধারণ অর্থ হলো “model”। ইংরেজি-বাংলা অভিধানে sculpture-এর প্রথম অর্থই দেওয়া থাকে “ভাস্কর্য” বা “ত্রিমাত্রিক মডেল/প্রতিরূপ”। প্যাসেজেও বলা আছে painting, drawing, sculpture and architecture — এগুলো সবই শিল্পের ধরন। painting আর drawing দ্বিমাত্রিক, আর sculpture ত্রিমাত্রিক মডেল বা আকৃতি। তাই “model” এখানে পুরোপুরি মানানসই।

(b) But: অন্য দেশেও সমস্যা আছে, কিন্তু আমাদের দেশে তা বেশি — বৈপরীত্য বোঝাতে But সঠিক।

(c) Obviously: বড় সমস্যার পেছনে কারণ থাকেই, সেটি স্পষ্ট করতে Obviously উপযুক্ত।

(d) Firstly: কারণের তালিকার প্রথমটি শুরু করতে Firstly ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

(e) Secondly: দ্বিতীয় কারণ বোঝাতে Secondly ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

(f) Thirdly: তৃতীয় বা শেষ কারণ বোঝাতে Thirdly সঠিক।

(b) to this: অনেক তরুণ-তরুণী এর শিকার হচ্ছে। Preposition to বস্তুকে নির্দেশ করে। অন্য বিকল্পগুলো অর্থহীন।

(c) for drug addiction: মাদকাসক্তির অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। "reason" এর পরে preposition for সঠিক। অন্য preposition (যেমন, of, with) গ্রাম্যাটিক্যালি ভুল।

(d) for stealing: অর্থের জোগাড় করতে মাদকাসক্তরা প্রায়ই চুরি, হত্যা বা অপকর্মের পথে যায়। "go" এর সাথে preposition হিসেবে for ঠিক।
